WESTFORD — The Westford Conservation Commission recommended reappointing its three expiring members. After interviewing the three incumbents and applicant Catherine McGee, a member moved and another seconded the recommendation, and no opposition was heard. The Select Board is the appointing authority.
The commission also issued an amended enforcement order requiring Seal Harbor, LLC, to restore vegetation at 6 Loon Way before occupancy. Seal Harbor's Mark Allager said, "I don't really think we did the wrong thing, but I'm here." It continued four hearings to June 10, including Boston Gas Company's 400 Littleton Road project. It issued orders of conditions for Gross, 50 Lawson Road, and a Millett property.
Staff said Hill Orchard drew one inquiry and the Day Field three. The commission is paying its orchard operator about $7,000 a year.
