Chelmsford Conservation Commission delayed a vote on the long-pending Warren-Pohl conservation restriction, pushing it to November 24. Chelmsford Land Conservation Trust President Dale Williams asked the commission for guidance after the state returned the document in March 2026 with edits, 15 months after submission; Conservation Agent David Coons said all seven commissioners would get two weeks to submit comments. The commission, with only four of seven members present, unanimously approved Eagle Scout Oliver Scafidi's trail-improvement project at Koulas Farm, closed a hearing with a negative determination for a septic replacement at 159 Tyngsborough Road, and closed and approved conditions for a commercial project at 24 Maple Road.
Several hearings, including for 111 Acton Road, 138 Main Street and 91 Tyngsborough Road, were continued to November 10 after applicants' representatives failed to appear. The commission also voted unanimously to spend $1,600 to remove a leaning oak at the Rivermeadow Brook Wildlife Refuge threatening an abutting property.
