Carlisle Releases August Municipal Newsletter

CARLISLE — Carlisle's Town Hall released its August municipal newsletter today, offering residents a rundown of town and community news as the Select Board heads into a joint session with two committees this week.

TOWN HALL The Town of Carlisle published the August edition of its municipal newsletter, compiling monthly updates from Town Hall alongside community group submissions, according to the town's website. Town officials noted that submissions from local community groups remain welcome for future editions.

SCHOOLS Carlisle Public Schools is directing families to its 2026 summer learning resources page, which includes grade level reading lists and math practice tools meant to keep students sharp before the new school year begins, according to the district's website.

COMING UP The Select Board meets Tuesday, Aug. 25 in a hybrid session, with a joint meeting alongside the Municipal Facilities Committee and a separate joint meeting with the Historical Commission, per the town's online calendar.

The Board of Assessors holds an executive session Wednesday, Aug. 26. The same day, the Carlisle School Committee meets remotely at 1 p.m.
