Cambridge Arts Unveils Fall Exhibition By Artist Rachel Rizzo

Cambridge Arts announced a new fall exhibition, "WEB: Works by Rachel Rizzo," opening with a reception Sept. 5, as City Hall flagged Labor Day closures for Sept. 7 and renewed its call for volunteers to help Cambridge Public Schools students sort lunchroom recycling.

TOWN HALL

City offices, public libraries and senior centers will close Monday, Sept. 7, for the Labor Day holiday, and library branches will also close the day before, Sunday, Sept. 6, according to the city's News Flash bulletin. Parking meters and pay stations will not require payment on the holiday.

The city is recruiting volunteers to help Cambridge Public Schools students sort recycling and food waste at breakfast and lunch, part of a sustainability push City Hall highlighted this week.

A city voting guide published ahead of Tuesday's state primary reiterated registration deadlines and in-person and mail voting options for residents, continuing coverage of statewide races already flagged in recent bulletins.

COMMUNITY & ARTS

Cambridge Arts will open its next gallery show, "WEB: Works by Rachel Rizzo," with a reception Saturday, Sept. 5, according to the organization's fall calendar. The exhibition adds a new artist to the city's rotating gallery lineup as the cultural season moves into September.
