Westford's library trustees and building committee learned the Fletcher Library renovation remains on budget but won't finish within its original 18-month window. Project manager Jennifer said "we remain on budget" despite delays from unsupported masonry, a drilled structural beam and settlement cracking, and said a revised schedule won't come until May. The joint board approved $668,439.75 in warrants and the February 2026 AmpliFund report, both 13-0.
Library official Ellen reported $155,822.49 in accrued grant interest, a $829,263 escalation grant expected around July 2027, and $7,200 combined in new "library of things" funding from the Westford Recycling Commission and 100 Westford Women Who Care. Town Meeting approved $60,000 in Community Preservation Act funds for skylight repairs. Alternate member Megan voted in place of absent member Mike Patton.
