Billerica Public Library Kicks Off Summer Reading Challenge for All Ages

Summer has officially shifted into gear at the Billerica Public Library, where the Summer Reading Challenge launched June 22 and programming is now rolling out through July for residents of all ages.

The Billerica Public Library's Summer Reading Challenge is open to children, teens, and adults, with registration available through the library's website and in person at 15 Concord Road. The library's regular summer hours are Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Two community events are already on the July calendar. Boston Area Gleaners will present a program at the library on Thursday, July 16, at 7 p.m. — registration is open now. Later in the month, the Family Friends of the Billerica Public Library will host an Ice Cream Social on Tuesday, July 28, at 6 p.m. The Family Friends are also selling bags for $10 each at the Circulation Desk while supplies last.
