Billerica Library Books WBZ Meteorologist Eric Fisher for Thursday Talk

BILLERICA — The Billerica Public Library will host WBZ meteorologist Eric Fisher for a free talk on weather and climate this Thursday, headlining a week of community programming at the Concord Road branch that also includes a weekly mobile career center and a fundraising bag sale.

Eric Fisher, the WBZ-TV meteorologist, will speak at the Billerica Public Library on Thursday, July 21, at 7 p.m. as part of the library's ongoing events series. The talk requires registration through the library's website.

The library's parking lot continues to serve as a weekly stop for the Masshire Lowell Mobile Career Center, which offers job-seeker services Mondays from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Separately, the library's Summer Reading Challenge for all ages, underway since June 22, remains open to residents looking to participate this summer.

The library is also selling Family Friends Bags for $10 each at the circulation desk while supplies last, with proceeds supporting library programs, services, and museum pass offerings.
