Ayer Tax Taking Set for Monday Noon at Town Hall
DATELINE: AYER
A noon deadline Monday for the town's tax taking and ongoing mandatory water restrictions are the most time-sensitive items facing Ayer residents as the week begins.
TOWN HALL
The Ayer Office of the Collector of Taxes has scheduled a tax taking for Monday, June 30 at 12 p.m. at Town Hall. Property owners with outstanding tax obligations should act before that deadline to avoid the formal tax taking process.
Mandatory water restrictions remain in effect as of May 1, 2026. Residents are reminded to comply with watering limits currently in place; details are posted on the town's website at ayer.ma.us.
The town's 2025 Water Quality Report is also now available for residents who want to review it; it can be accessed through the town homepage.
