Ayer Tax Taking Set for June 30; Unpaid Bills Due Before Noon Deadline
DATELINE: AYER
The town's Collector of Taxes has scheduled a tax-taking for June 30 at noon at Town Hall, giving property owners with unpaid balances less than a week to act before the town moves to secure a lien on their land.
TOWN HALL
A notice posted on the town's homepage warns that the Office of the Collector of Taxes will conduct a formal tax taking on Monday, June 30, 2026, at 12 p.m. at Town Hall. Residents with outstanding tax obligations should contact the Collector's office before that date to avoid a lien being placed on their property.
The town's mandatory water restrictions, in effect since May 1, remain active heading into the final days of June. Residents are reminded to follow the current watering schedule. The town's 2025 Water Quality Report is also now available for review on the municipal website at ayer.ma.us.
