Ashland Library Sets STEM, Art and Meditation Programs This Week

ASHLAND — The Ashland Public Library's summer programming continues into the end of July, with a slate of virtual and in-person offerings for both children and adults running Thursday and Friday, alongside a continuing online summer reading challenge for adults.

COMMUNITY & ARTS

The library has several events on tap for Thursday, July 30, including "Make Me a Story" for children ages 3 to 7 with a caregiver, a Summer STEM program for grades K-6, and two virtual offerings: "Celebrating 250 — American Revolutionary Painter Gilbert Stuart" and an Art on Thursday session titled "As American as Apple Pie: Rockwell's Images of Sports and Leisure."

The Adult Summer Reading Challenge 2026 continues online through Friday, July 31. That same day, the library will host an in-person Mindful Meditation session for adults and a "Paw Patrol Party" geared toward families.

TOWN HALL

The town's Sustainability Committee is scheduled to meet virtually Thursday, July 30, according to the town's online calendar. The Comprehensive Plan Committee also remains active, with residents able to reach the committee by email through the town website.

COMING UP
