Ashland Library Offers Four Programs Friday, From Storytime to Film Discussion

The Ashland Public Library is headlining Thursday's news with a packed slate of Friday programs, while town hall issued no new press releases and the school district posted no announcements in this cycle.

The Ashland Public Library has several programs scheduled for Friday, June 26. Young children ages three through six can drop in with a caregiver for ABC Adventures, a literacy-focused storytime program. Families can also catch a Flicknic screening of *The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants* outdoors. Adults looking for a midday reset can attend an in-person Mindful Meditation session, and film enthusiasts can join a Virtual Friday Night Film Discussion of *Mostly Martha* in the evening. The library has moved its event registration to a new calendar platform; residents should visit the library's updated calendar page to register for any of these programs.

COMING UP

The library's programming continues into the weekend and next week. On Saturday, June 28, families with young children can attend Saturday Stories, and families can also test their knowledge at Family Sports Trivia. On Monday, June 30, grades K through 3 are invited to LEGO Club. Also on Monday, June 30, the Housing Authority holds its monthly meeting, the Select Board convenes in executive session, the School Committee meets in a hybrid session, and the Conservation Commission meets via Zoom. The Library Board of Trustees meets Tuesday, July 1. David Mindess Elementary School's Site Council is scheduled for July 14.
