Acton-Westford PrideFest Opens Saturday at NARA Park Amphitheater

The Annual Acton-Westford PrideFest takes center stage today at NARA Park, with the town also previewing a July 2 Independence Day celebration at the same venue.

TOWN HALL

The Annual Acton-Westford PrideFest runs Saturday, June 27, from noon to 3 p.m. at NARA Park's Thomas E. Tidman Amphitheater. The free community event is open to all.

Looking ahead, the town has announced its 2026 Independence Day Celebration for Wednesday, July 2, also at NARA Park. Doors open at 4 p.m. and will feature food vendors, inflatables, free beach access, games, and live music starting at 8 p.m., capped by a laser light show. The event is free and open to all residents.

Also this weekend, the Great American Campout runs Saturday and Sunday, June 27–28, per the town calendar.

COMMUNITY & ARTS

The Acton Public Library has a busy stretch ahead. On Thursday, July 2, teens in grades five through 12 can drop in for Games Day from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and a Peace Crane Folding session — part of an ongoing origami charity project aimed at reaching 1,000 cranes — runs from 1 to 2 p.m. No experience is needed and materials are provided.
